Creepy facts........

The Taino tribes where the first inhabitants of this land when Columbus arrived. They were pacific, clean and happy people. The only really horrible "hobby" they had, was that when the Cacique (Tribe Chief) died, they used the bury his most precious things, including the wife....ALIVE !!!!! [img]eek.gif[/img]

...that's really not all that odd. many Eastern cultures did the same or similar things...including some of the Pharohs--who, in fact, would have family and servants buried with them.

...I might be totally off, but wasn't it the Indian Hindus who would burn a man's wife alive with his corpse upon death?
